When I first started working with Meg I was a totally different person than I am now, thanks to her! I am so proud to say that with her guidance and insight I’ve completely recovered from my ED. I believe coaching is such a powerful way to recover because it actually holds you accountable, and Meg is a top tier coach. From her endless wisdom, especially from recovering from an ED herself, to her compassionate, bubbly personality, Meg is truly a light in this world!
We want to thank you for all you have done to help L on her road to recovery. We are so thankful that she has acquired so much freedom from her ED. She has been so incredibly strong, worked so hard, and we are so proud of her. To hear her expressing her emotions more freely and seeing that she has more space/time to think about and do the things that bring her happiness and contentment, warms our hearts. It means the world that she is defining health in her own way, making the choices that matter to her, and coping with fears in ways that are best for her. Thank you for all of the knowledge, guidance, strategies, and support you have provided L. We are grateful for you and the team you and L have become!!”
Working with Meg has been life changing and essential for my eating disorder recovery. I reached out to her when I realized that I desperately needed someone to help me and I couldn’t do recovery on my own, but I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I started experiencing the benefits of working with her from the very beginning. Not only has she always provided the support I needed and she has offered me a safe space to talk without feeling judged or misunderstood, week by week she also guided me and helped me set realistic and attainable steps I could take in order to make progress and move forward in my recovery. I wouldn’t be able to eat the food I want now without fear or guilt attached, if it wasn’t for the work we did together. Her passion for life and community has inspired me to question my priorities and shift my focus from food and appearance to love and connection. She helped me realize that my value and worthiness do not depend on the way I look and you can actually have a better relationship with your body once you start giving it the nourishment and care it needs. Not only my relationship with food and my body has improved, but also my perspective and approach to life has changed. The entire recovery process taught me the importance of surrendering to the present moment and letting go of control. I wouldn’t recommend working with Meg enough, the energy she radiates is contagious and uplifting.
“I felt alone and hopeless until I started working with Meg. I had finally found someone who could challenge my disordered thoughts in a constructive way. She knew how and when to push me and when to let me sit with my progress and allow me to “master” the changes I had been making. I could be honest with Meg about what I felt I was ready for, but she also didn’t let that get in the way of moving me forward. The accessibility to her via text any time was EXACTLY what I needed. It was important to me to be able to reach out in a hard moment and receive motivation, validation, permission and compassion. Working with Meg was exactly what I needed to catalyze my recovery. If you are thinking of recovery and don’t know where or how to start, I highly recommend you reach out and schedule time with Meg. “
