ABOUT OUR GUEST

Kent Thomas, MSW is a social worker and is passionate about working with people on the eating disorder and body distress spectrum as a Body Liberation Coach. After he started working in human services in foster care. Since then, he has become been a peer counselor, queer youth advocate, community organizer, nonprofit fundraiser, and I now work at an eating disorder clinic as a Milieu Therapist. Helping others explore body liberation is the thing Kent is most passionate about. As a Body Liberation Coach, he uses his education, training, professional experience, and personal experience to help others find freedom in their bodies. He works with people of all genders and sexualities and is explicitly fat positive.
